Strategy Guide

Note: This game is also titled Bakumatsu Roman Daini Tobari: Gekka No Kenshi Final Edition.

  • Play as Original Kaede

    At the character selection screen, highlight Kaede, then quickly press X(9), B, X. Kaede will speak to confirm correct code entry. Press A or Y to play as the original version of Kaede.

  • Play as Kouryu

    At the character selection screen, highlight Kaede, then quickly press X(10), B(5), X(4). Kaede will speak to confirm correct code entry. Press A or Y to play as Kouryu.

  • Almost play as Kotetsu

    At the character selection screen, highlight Shingen, then quickly press X(5), B(10), X(2).

  • Mirror matches

    At the character selection screen, highlight Akari, then quickly press X(8), B(9), and repeatedly press Kick until Akari speaks to confirm the code was entered correctly.

  • EX mode

    At the mode selection screen, select Speed (Blue), then press X(6), Left, B(3), Right, X(4).

  • Card mini-game

    Successfully complete story mode on any difficulty setting and any number of continues. A selection for the card game will appear below "Options" at the main menu.
