MAIN MENU IV. CONTROLS V. CHARACTER DATA VI. MINI ADVENTURE/WALKTHROUGH VII. KITA E. SOUNDTRACKS/SONG LIST VIII. CREDITS & THANKS I. WELCOME Welcome to my Kita e. Photo Memories (KEPM) FAQ. Following up on my Kita e. White Illumination (KEWI) FAQ, I decided to write this FAQ up to encourage others to play life simulations on the DC. I've searched high and low for this game since its release, every import dealer in NYC didn't have it, all of the big online import dealers didn't have it, either. Finally, I had to import this game directly from Japan. It really is a rare jewel. II. BACKGROUND/STORY KEPM was released for the Japanese Dreamcast (DC) 8/5/99, and retails for 3800 yen. It is played on 1 GD ROM disk and uses 20 Blocks of memory. KEPM is a "sequel" to the DC game Kita e. White Illumination. (KEWI) Its not really a sequel, but an Illustration Collection with mini adventure. It could be classified as an OMAKE disk. Its definitely worth every penny for the serious Kita e. Fan. KEPM takes place six months after the White Illumination Countdown from KEWI. You resume your role as yourself, and you "Kita e" to Hokkaido during your summer vacation to visit with your girlfriend for five short days. Your goal this time is to create a new Album of Photo Memories of your girlfriend. "The Illumination Countown was a half a year ago. In order to make a new memories album, I visit again. MINI ADVENTURE & WALKTHROUGH In this sequel you Kita e once again to see your loved one for only 5 days. You bring along your handy camera this time so you can have real Photo Memories. You will visit a few locales with your desired partner. During conversation you can take a picture, up to 5 pictures per game per girl. You can take a picture almost at anytime, usually surprising the girl if you just start snapping. However, if you say the right thing, she will become less camera shy and actually pose for you for a great photo memory. There are however, some girls who pose more than 5 times so you have to decide whether or not you want to use the picture, or wait. If she poses and you do not take a picture, it is funny hearing her ask you"what's wrong like is the shutter closed?", "what are you waiting for?", etc. I will give hints to which pictures I like and you might like better. Also, I find it fun to make fun of your date, then take a picture of her mad/surprised face. At the end of the little get away, your kanojo writes you a letter reminiscing about the good times. The outcome is the same no matterwhat you say, but the beautiful posed shots are not available if the wrong phrase is said and the extra bonus photo in the final memory, that is viewed under the Nocchi Gallery: Photo Memories Section will not be available too. Also the ending letter will include extra bonus writings if you say the right words. There is no CBS system here, the game prompts you to reply. If you just snap a picture, the conversation runs out and the next scenario begins. The choices do change around so don't think that memorizing the positions of the answers is the right way to go. If you follow this walkthrough you will get the good happy ending with all the available posed pictures and the final memory. However, if you choose different answers, there can be some surprisingly amusing sequences of dialogues. Check out Megumi and ask her about Hotels ..Oh boy she is Naiive :) *NOTE* All Answers romanized by me using information from Fin's Kita e Page at http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Dice/6046/maindex.html A.
